The summer months in the National Football League can only mean one thing: it's time for Media Day. This critical time in the schedule gives all 30 clubs with the necessary assets and content to create an engaging gameday experience for fans all season long. From executives providing ample support behind the scenes and the trust of the players in front of the camera, executing a successful Media Day is an extremely impressive high wire act.
In this edition of SVG Rewind, San Francisco 49ers' Senior Director of Game Presentation & Live Events Laura Johnson, Baltimore Ravens' VP of Broadcasting & Gameday Productions, Jay O’Brien, Las Vegas Raiders' Senior Director of Game & Event Presentation Justin Casserly, and Houston Texans' Senior Creative Director & Executive Producer Carl Mandell take us through the brainstorming of new and creative ideas, what ended up being used during this year's shoot, how they work with the other departments in the organization, how technologies make a huge difference, and how their experience with Media Day has changed since the first one in their career.
