San Diego State University is joining the University of Miami and Florida Atlantic University as three of this year’s four programs to reach their first-ever Final Four. Never being on this stage before, the Aztecs’ social media team is joining forces to put together unique digital pieces and chronicle this magical men’s basketball season.
At Houston’s NRG Stadium, SVG’s Kristian Hernández spoke with San Diego State University’s Coordinator, Multimedia Productions, Jason Bott, about the help that he’s receiving from his colleagues in the Media Relations department, the content being churned out for Aztecs fans back on campus and alumni around the nation, and how this unforeseen run in the tournament combined with the opening of football’s Snapdragon Stadium has turned the 2022-23 academic calendar into a banner year.
