When Nashville was granted a National Hockey League franchise in 1998, it was the beginning of a perfect marriage between sports and entertainment. As the hub of country music and sprinkled with honkey-tonks and live music performances along Broadway, the city has infused this all day and all night party into Nashville Predators home games at Bridgestone Arena. Teri Johnson, who serves as Senior Manager of Game Presentation, has been in the middle of the festivities for the past three seasons.
On the latest episode of SVG GameDay, Johnson discusses how the team harnesses that energy to create an enjoyable fan experience, how she found her way into game presentation during her time at Centenary College of Louisiana, how she harnessed her skills with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits of the East Coast Hockey League and the Shreveport Mudbugs of the North American Hockey League, and much more.
