Forty eight medals, eighteen countries, one Aspen 2024! In its second year as an independently run company, the X Games headed back to Aspen for three days of action and a focus on delivering a more multiplatform, interactive experience to appeal to younger audiences. As always, there was plenty of production tech on hand at Buttermilk Mountain courtesy of production partner Echo Entertainment and facilities provider Dome Productions. In this interview, X Games Senior Coordinating Producer Pete Dellaria and Echo Entertainment Tech Manager Pierce Williams provide a behind-the-scenes look at how they pulled it all off.
