The Jacksonville Jaguars are starting to make that turn around the corner of success. Not far removed from lean years on the field, the club has won the AFC South Division two of the last four years. With quarterback Trevor Lawrence at the helm, and Head Coach Liam Coen with another year underneath his belt, the Jags are flipping the page in Duval County. The organization's game presentation department has their own quarterback: Carlos Caceres, who serves as Senior Director of Gameday and Event Production. Whether the team's playing at EverBank Stadium or a neutral stadium in London, he's remaining calm in the pocket up in the control room.
On the latest episode of SVG GameDay, Caceres talks about the excitement of hosting an AFC Wild Card matchup against the Buffalo Bills, how the team's trips to the English capital have helped the franchise become further engrained in the city's sports culture, how the current stadium renovations will impact productions in the upcoming 2026 season, how his love for the Chicago Cubs and the city of Chicago birthed his interest in the industry, how the University of Illinois' Fighting Illini Productions as a student and his break in the industry with the Chicago Bears propelled him to his current position in Northeast Florida, and much more.
