ESPN's Monday Night Football is in the thick of, perhaps, its busiest stretch of the entire season. Fresh off back-to-back weeks of two-game nights, the crew is now headed to Arrowhead as the New Orleans Saints visit the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs to close out NFL Week 5.
New this season to Monday Night Football's behind-the-scenes team is an ESPN veteran, Tommy Mitchell, Senior Operations Manager, Live Sports. After nearly two decades working college football and the College Football Playoff, Mitchell has made the jump to the NFL and our Director of Digital Brandon Costa sat down with him to talk about the biggest differences with his new job. Also, they break down what's new and exciting on the Monday Night Football broadcast.
