Although Bolin Technology has been manufacturing professional PTZ cameras for more than 20 years, much of that time was spent providing these products for other brands. However, over the past five years, Bolin stopped OEM manufacturing for others and now designs and manufactures exclusively under its own brand, focusing on PTZ cameras and AV-over-IP solutions.
Today, Bolin builds rugged, weather-resistant PTZ cameras with broadcast-quality optics — not just indoor cameras in a housing, but truly outdoor-capable. These outdoor PTZs support a broad range of I/O — SDI, optical fiber, NDI, RTP, SRT — giving flexibility to different IP workflows.
SVG sat down with Sapan Doshi, Technology Manager, Bolin Technology, to discuss the company’s latest innovations, how their PTZs are used across an array of sports (including NFL training facilities baseball, hockey, and European soccer), and Bolin’s early dual-output cameras that can send both baseband/SDI and IP streams simultaneously to serve both in-venue and remote production needs.
