Founded in 2019, the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) has united all players and teams to compete against each other and see who'll be crowned the best of the best. Growing since its inaugural season, Esports Engine has become an important piece to the production puzzle, and for the most recent ALGS Championship in Birmingham, England from Sept. 6-10, the company was tasked with supplying the infrastructure at Resorts World Arena.
At the 2023 SVG Esports Production Summit, Esports Engine's Senior Director of UK Operations Paul Kent explains the complexities of pulling off this world championship and the necessary operational considerations that are taken into account when producing a major esports event.
