At the University of North Carolina, the team at GoHeels Productions are among the elite live production groups in collegiate athletics. This year, the team reached an impressive milestone of producing their 1,000th live event for ESPN and the ACC Network. Also, the group was the winner at the 2025 SVG College Sports Media Awards for Outstanding Live Game Production in the Collegiate Athletics - Power division for its coverage of the UNC vs. Long Island game in the NCAA Baseball Regionals.
At the 2025 SVG College Summit, our Brandon Costa spoke with Ken Cleary, Associate Athletic Director/GoHeels Productions at the University of North Carolina to discuss his department's year of success, how NIL and the recent house ruling on revenue sharing with student athletes is changing how his department operates, and more.
