The beauty about this side of the sports-video-production industry is that no matter where you are, a lesson will most certainly be learned. For Devin McDuffie, it's been a career full of lessons that has shaped how he calls a show. After attending numerous shows of music legend Bruce Springsteen during his childhood — his father served as the longtime tour manager for "The Boss" — and graduating Shore Regional High School in West Long Branch, NJ, McDuffie carried his love for production and entertainment to Fordham University in The Bronx, NY. Whether it was spending his time at local radio station WFUV or as the school's mascot on the sidelines, his time at Fordham led him to join the New York Giants in positions like production coordinator and production manager. In 2021, he left the Northeast and traveled to Florida to further refine his craft as both Manager of Events and Entertainment and Senior Manager of Events and Entertainment for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Currently, he serves as Director of Events & Game Entertainment for the Baltimore Ravens.
On the latest episode of SVG GameDay, McDuffie shares how he prepares and directs a game, how previous stops on his journey in the National Football League have left an imprint on his work, how he always looks for areas to grow and improve, and much more.
