Presidio's Nareev Shah on the Role of Captivate & Resonate Platforms in Sports

Presidio is a global digital solutions and services provider delivering software-defined cloud, collaboration and security solutions to customers of all industries. Recently the company has shifted from a traditional systems-integrator role to an accelerator model that partners with AWS and focuses on innovative solutions. At NAB, the company introduced Captivate for fan engagement, and later in the year Resonate for workflow/operations optimization.
Designed to enhance fan engagement by letting viewers choose camera angles and personalize how they watch content, Captivate effectively puts the control in the viewer’s hands. In addition, Captivate unlocks monetization via personalized experiences, merchandising, and advertising opportunities. Built on AWS Media Lake, the platform helps ingest and organize large volumes of content, enabling AI-powered tagging, search, and workflows (i.e. coaches or recruiters sorting through thousands of clips efficiently).
Meanwhile, Resonate includes editing tools for athletes to create highlight reels for social platforms, aiding NIL and personal branding. Managing mixed content (video/audio/stats) is among sports content-creators most significant challenges today, but Resonate simplifies these content relationships and unlocks deeper value.
SVG sat down with Nareev Shah, Head of Digital Solutions, Media, Entertainment, Gaming and Sports, Presidio, to discuss the company's evolution, the impact of Captivate and Resonate of the sports-production market, his predictions what he sees for the sports-media ecosystem in the years ahead.
