The New York Giants, winner of four Super Bowls and one of the oldest franchises in the National Football League, is an organization packed with illustrious history and memorable moments. Honoring that history, the Giants hosted two"Legacy Games" during the 2022 regular season: Week 4 vs. the Chicago Bears on Oct. 2 and Week 13 vs. the Washington Commanders on Dec. 4. These two showcase games featured the return of the team's iconic blue and red home jersey, the endzones and wall wraps used during Super Bowl XXI, throwback graphics and visuals seen on the old videoboard at Giants Stadium, halftime performances from legendary artists, and more.
At the SVG Venue Summit, New York Giants' VP and Executive Producer Don Sperling recounts the massive effort that went into transforming the gameday entertainment and atmosphere into what it was like in the 1980s and 1990s, how his team mixes in new and traditional forms of content to attract all generations of fans, and what can be expected next season at MetLife Stadium.
