Behind the Scenes of Producing Tottenham Hotspur's Europa League Victory Parade

Seventeen years since their last trophy. 41 years since their last taste of glory on the European stage. Tottenham Hotspur Football Club has endured heartbreak after heartbreak, but after defeating Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League Final on May 21, the wait was finally over and the club was back on top. Approximately 200,000 supporters packed the neighborhood in North London for the nearly 2-mile- and two-hour-long victory parade on May 23.
In this edition of SVG Rewind, the individual responsible for firing up the massive crowd — Tottenham Hotspur Football Club's Stadium Content Manager Ryan Madayag — walked us through the brainstorming and preparation process, the final production and broadcasting plans that came together, the work that went into blocking off a section of the English capital, how the parade tied into season-long production efforts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and how Madayag's previous experience with the NFL's Seattle Seahawks has helped shape the club's matchday productions since joining in September 2023.
