Charlotte, North Carolina has become a bit of a hub for remote sports television production. Among those with facilities in the city are FOX Sports, which houses a hub there (along with its Los Angeles home on the FOX Lot) to produce live games via what they call a "home run production model."
At the SVG Remote Production Forum, our Jason Dachman caught up with Devin Klein, Senior Manager, Broadcast Operations at Fox Sports to get an inside look at the network's Charlotte facility and how the network approaches decisions around "home run productions."
