As the lone professional sports team representing the State of New Jersey, the NHL's New Jersey Devils fully embrace the culture and lifestyle of what it's like living in the Garden State. Calling the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ home, the franchise has 41 games to drive this point across to new fans entering the building and reinforce that love for all things Jersey for diehard fans. This pride has been a staple for quite some time, and no one understands it better than Joe Kuchie. Serving as Vice President of Live Experience and Production, he has held eight different positions during his tenure and has worked his way up the ladder to lead both production and technological initiatives at the club.
On the latest episode of SVG GameDay, Kuchie walks us through his duties throughout the week, the in-venue content that highlights the entire state, the execution behind league events like the 2024 NHL Stadium Series vs. the Philadelphia Flyers at MetLife Stadium and the 2024 NHL Global Series vs. the Buffalo Sabres in Prague, an internship as a student of Rutgers University that began his connection to the Devils, the lessons learned after 14 seasons, and much more.
