We are now at a point where one set of live cameras can be made available in a cloud environment to almost limitless production teams. This means that rights holders around the globe can cut local versions instead of relying on a single World Feed. And the ability to spin off alternative broadcasts and experiences (potentially) becomes much simpler. AND it can all be done from a browser window (or similar). But, while it promises much, what is the reality? A panel of experts discuss the pros and cons of cloud production now and in the future.
