With more than two decades of experience across the news and media industry, Cynthia Smith, has built a distinguished career as a broadcast and audio engineer supporting some of the nation’s leading networks, including CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, FOX News, BET, and PBS. Based in Washington, DC, she has worked on everything from live shots at the White House to major entertainment productions, delivering exceptional technical expertise both in the field and in the studio.
Her career began at ABC Radio Network, where she spent over a decade engineering national broadcasts, traveling domestically and internationally with the White House Press Corps, and producing audio for high-profile political events and interviews. Since then, she has expanded her skill set as a trusted freelance audio professional for top media organizations, providing sound for live news coverage, documentaries, and entertainment specials.
